See Progress, Inc. is located in Brighton. Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. The company was founded in early 2000 with the goal of enhancing and delivering true customer service through the use of cutting-edge technology. The president of this company, Dave Henderson, has been in the Autobody industry for 30 years. His inspiration came from his knowledge of the body shop industry and his love of computers. After his many years of experience, he believes that customer service is what distinguishes body shops.
With more body shops and fewer accidents his goal was to offer something that would enable the customer to have an emotional attachment to their shop. He envisioned the body shop as not just a place where you drop off your vehicle and hope that it will be done on time, but an experience with customers playing the key role. He envisioned the online experience to be a place where customers come back time and again and invite their friends and family to view their vehicle/your shop online.
He also recognized that the intensity of the body shop schedule would not allow any extra work by the advisor and staff. He knew first hand that communication is the element that makes customers happy. Combine that with the new dot.com economy and thus; AutoWatch™ was born!
